Olivia Gibbons made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Nakiah Persinger was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Taylor Vivian was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
Glacier always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Glacier has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Hellgate, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
