There's no place like home for Trinity Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Heritage Academy Heroes with a sharp 11-4 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Josh Partin made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Henry Patterson was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ethan Feddema, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Trinity Christian's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Heritage Academy, they moved to 6-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Trinity Christian is taking a road trip to challenge New Way Learning Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Heritage Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
