After flying high against Shekinah Christian  last Thursday, Tree of Life Christian came back down to earth. The Tree of Life Christian Trojans lost  13-2 to the Elgin Comets on Monday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  runs Tree of Life Christian has scored all season.
 For Elgin's part,  Madison Hill made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out ten batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   two  hits. Hill has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Hill was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Emilie Bishop was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.  Chloe Atha was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 Tree of Life Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Elgin, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-16.
 As of now, neither Tree of Life Christian nor Elgin have any future games scheduled.
