After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Farmington, Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cairo Pilots 69-33. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Pilots: they've now won five in a row.

Central can attribute much of their success to Jamie Dawson-Ide, who went 7-for-9 on her way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Moss, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 12 points.

Central's record now sits at 8-12. As for Cairo, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Central has already played their next game, a 55-50 win against Kennett on the 10th. As for Cairo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Benton on the 7th.
