Franklin Road Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,678 from 6,324. The improvement came about via a 24-10 victory over Donelson Christian Academy last week.
The Panthers' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Matt Hissong threw for 171 and two touchdowns and Dalton Ponchillia had 92 yards receiving. On the ground Hosea Baldwin chipped in 115 yards. Baldwin helped Franklin Road Academy's passing attack out by catching two balls for 64 yards.
Franklin Road Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hissong has thrown for 531 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Ponchillia has 29 catches for 485 yards. Baldwin leads the league in rushing with 355 yards.
