St. Francis is 0-10 against Brookfield Academy since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. Both teams will face off  at 6:00  p.m.  on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Brookfield Academy took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Francis, who comes in off a win.
 Even though St. Francis has not done well against University School of Milwaukee recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Saturday. St. Francis put the hurt on University School of Milwaukee with a sharp  62-38 win. The  victory was just what St. Francis needed coming off of a  59-16 defeat in their prior  matchup.
 Meanwhile, Brookfield Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a  62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brookfield Central.
 Despite their  defeat, Brookfield Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Madison York, who  scored 19 points, was perhaps the best of all. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  York has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Amelia Rigel, who  scored 13 points.
 St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Brookfield Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
