The Springfield Yellow Jackets won the last time they faced the West Creek Coyote, and things went their way on Friday too. Springfield blew past West Creek, posting a 65-31 win on the road.
It was another big night for Rayne Erickson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaya Walker, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Springfield now has a winning record of 12-11. As for West Creek, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-14.
Springfield will take on Rossview at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Springfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday. West Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
