Philo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of the Morgan Raiders. Even though they lost, the Electrics' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Hunter Hoffer led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Roush, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Philo now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Morgan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-9.
