West Central has struggled against Culver Community recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, West Central had strong showings from Conner Schleman, who scored 23 points along with 6 rebounds, and Bryce Nannenga, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Christian Hughes, who scored 1 points along with 7 rebounds.
Among those leading the charge was Jack Rodgers, who scored 25 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of David Hite, who scored 6 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
West Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Culver Community, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
