You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Brunswick's strategy against Glynn Academy on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Brunswick Pirates blew the Glynn Academy Terrors out of the water with an 83-28 final score. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Brunswick was led to victory by Caleb Butler and Heze Kent. Butler went 9 of 12 on his way to 20 points and eight boards, while Kent dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Kent has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times he's played. Nasir Poole was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Brunswick was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glynn Academy only posted one assist.

Despite the loss, Glynn Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Trevion Bryant posted nine points.

Brunswick's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Glynn Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-22.

Brunswick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 73-46 victory against South Effingham on the 1st. Glynn Academy has also already played their next game, a 67-56 defeat against Richmond Hill on the 1st.
