Mason Vela continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 39 points and 7 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jose Escobar, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nixon will take on Rio Grande City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
