Brady Anschutz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Lucas is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 1-2 otherwise. Anschutz was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Anthony Fanello was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Bobby Grover was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Lucas hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mansfield Christian struck out 11 times.
