Brennen Yamane had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 170 yards and one TD while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 170 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Davis Barnett was another key player, throwing for 235 yards and three TDs while completing 80.6% of his passes.
Bayside Academy didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Montgomery Academy to a completion percentage of just 44.4%. Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Barnett and Moody. Barnett just won't slow down this season and has thrown 42 touchdowns while averaging 230.5 passing yards per game. Moody has been a dominant force too and has thrown 58 touchdowns while averaging 391.5 passing yards per game.
We should be in store for an exciting game as Bayside Academy and Southside have no problem gaining yardage. The Admirals have been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 378.6 total yards per game. However, it's not like Southside struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 572.2 total yards.
