While Thursday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Justine Doringo. She wasn't messing around on Thursday, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was her third straight with six or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Doringo and Marlington will challenge Perry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thanks in part to Doringo's efforts, the Dukes will roll in on a three-game winning streak.
