A Season-Best Performance from Adriane Garza Leads Mitchell over Kearney Catholic
Adriane Garza produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Mitchell to the win on Friday. Garza rushed for 221 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 113 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes.
Mitchell's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. Garza and Mitchell will take on Amherst at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hill Made His Presence Known in Hershey's 40-30 Victory
Hershey found a leader in Rhodee Hill as the team took down Gordon-Rushville on Friday. Hill did his part (and then some), making 21 total tackles (1.0 for loss) for the 'W'. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 50 yards.
Unfortunately for Gordon-Rushville, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Hill. Hill picked up 0.5 sacks and made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss) the last time he and the Mustangs duked it out back in October of 2023.

Sadly, Jacob Bosshamer posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Kearney Catholic over Mitchell on Friday. Bosshamer threw for 373 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes.
Kearney Catholic's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1. Bosshamer and Kearney Catholic will take on Hershey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sadly, Atreyu May posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Kearney Catholic over Mitchell on Friday. May picked up 136 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 60 yards.
This season, May has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 40.1 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.57 receiving yards per game.
