On Friday Belmont take on Wonewoc-Center/Weston at 7:00 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with six consecutive losses for Belmont and five for Wonewoc-Center/Weston.
There's no need to mince words: Belmont lost to Black Hawk last Saturday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-52. Belmont were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-30.
Meanwhile, Wonewoc-Center/Weston took a serious blow against Wauzeka-Steuben/Seneca, falling 6-48.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
