The New Lexington Panthers suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2023 on Saturday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 51-29 walloping at the hands of John Glenn. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat New Lexington has suffered against John Glenn since February 4, 2019.
Abby Wilson and Makenzy McCoy certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Wilson scored four points along with eight rebounds, while McCoy scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for New Lexington and nudges their season record down to 8-8. As for John Glenn, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

As for John Glenn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Meadowbrook at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meadowbrook will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 386th, while John Glenn is ranked 177th).
