The Vineland Fighting Clan's's four-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They blew past Egg Harbor Township 38-0 at home. The victory was just what Vineland needed coming off of a 32-6 loss in their prior matchup.
Vineland can attribute much of their success to Tyrell Powell, who threw for 112 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Vineland's win on Saturday bumped their record up to 2-5. Egg Harbor Township has traveled a rocky road this season, as they've lost seven of their first eight matches, which gives them a 1-7 record this season.
Vineland will square off against Pennsauken at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Egg Harbor Township, they will be playing at home against Mainland Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mainland Regional is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
