Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Littlefield). They put the hurt on the Muleshoe Mules with a sharp  50-26 win on Friday. The score was close at halftime, but the Wildcats pulled away in the second half with 36  points.
 When it comes to explaining why Muleshoe lost, don't look at  Josue Sigala. Despite the final result, he rushed for 247 yards and three  scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 82 yards and one  touchdown. Sigala showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards.
Littlefield pushed their record up to 7-1 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for Muleshoe, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record  this season.
