The Dodge County Indians stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 56-28 victory over Cook on the road. Winning may never get old, but Dodge County sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Lyric Green was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 19 rebounds. Green is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Ja"Vonna Hamilton was another key contributor, scoring five points along with ten rebounds.
Dodge County is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Cook, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.
Dodge County will be playing in front of their home fans against the Purple Hurricane at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cook, they will head out on the road to square off against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Worth County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
