The Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions won the last time they faced the Walden Grove Red Wolves, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Walden Grove 53-17 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-5.
Leading Pusch Ridge Christian Academy to victory were Alexis Ferbeyre and Sedona Dietrich. Ferbeyre scored 8 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds, while Dietrich scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sierra Gifford, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
The victory got Pusch Ridge Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Walden Grove, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Nogales at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Nogales is ranked 48th, while Pusch Ridge Christian Academy is ranked 68th). As for Walden Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Empire at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Empire focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Monday.
