The Elk Grove Thundering Herd won the last time they faced the Tokay Tigers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Elk Grove walked away with a 57-47 win over Tokay. With that victory, Elk Grove brought their scoring average up to 51.5 points per game.
Elk Grove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Danny Dennaoui led the charge by scoring 8 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Vinny Gonzales, who scored 12 points.
The win got Elk Grove back to even at 1-1. As for Tokay, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Elk Grove won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Woodcreek at 7:15 p.m. on December 1st. Tokay is on the road again on Friday and play against Kennedy at 5:45 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully Kennedy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday.
