The Rock Hill Blue Hawks entered their tilt with the Boyd Broncos with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Rock Hill walked away with a 71-62 win over Boyd on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Rock Hill's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 270th, while Boyd is ranked 93rd).
Rock Hill found their leader in underclassman Keyshawn Myles, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Myles' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Dextan Hutchinson was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five assists.
Rock Hill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season. As for Boyd, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-9.
Rock Hill will head out on the road to face off against Braswell at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Braswell has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Boyd, they will be playing at home against Guyer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
