The Chagrin Falls Tigers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They skirted past Crestwood 58-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Chagrin Falls' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lilly Stukus led the charge by scoring 19 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Russell, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hannah Ward, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The game was Ward's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Rebecca Brady was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
