 Despite the  defeat, Wilmington Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Trent Davies  went 12-for-18  to rack up 31 points and three  steals. Davies is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last 25 games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jordan Escoffrey, who  posted 11  points.
Wilmington Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Alamance Christian, they pushed their record up to 21-3 with the  victory, which was their eighth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Wilmington Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alamance Christian, they have already played their next match,  a  61-58  defeat against Triad Baptist Christian Academy on the 28th.
