Meanwhile, St. Mary's pushed their score all the way to 58 last Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 65-58 to Archbishop Williams. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as St. Mary's came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while Archbishop Williams is ranked 213th).
Martha's Vineyard Regional has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for St. Mary's, they dropped their record down to 8-6 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
