Even though the Braddock Bulldogs have not done well against the Killian Cougars recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Braddock took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 88-9 win over Killian. This was payback for Braddock, who suffered a 44-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Braddock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Yvonne Jebian , who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Jebian is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last four games she's played. Elsa Stier was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The win got Braddock back to even at 3-3. As for Killian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Braddock will take on North Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Killian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Goleman at 3:30 p.m. on December 8th.
