Schartz also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble, making 16 total tackles, and defending a pass. Another rusher making a difference was Trenton Schartz, who rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Ellis' imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In that department, Toby Honas was the leader with two.
