Volleyball Recap: Fleming Has No Trouble Against Cheraw

Fleming won the last time they faced Cheraw and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolverines.

Ashley Bornhoft paced Fleming's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bornhoft got some help from Ciana Lousberg and her 17 assists. Lousberg also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hadley Stull, each putting up two.

Fleming's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Cheraw, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fleming will take on Merino at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cheraw, they will head out to challenge Rocky Ford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
