Hancock will take on Jones at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Hancock's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Jones has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Monday. Everything went Hancock's way against Brooks as they made off with a 12-2 win. Hancock might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Alyssa Diaz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 14 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Chloe Dougherty, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Alayna Bentley was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Hancock was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are 6-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Jones couldn't beat Lincoln Park on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Eagles fell 13-8 to the Lions.
Julissa Galvaz and Gabby Prus stepped up to the plate in a big way. Galvaz went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Prus got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Delaney Treccia, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Hancock now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Jones, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hancock has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Jones struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Hancock came out on top in a nail-biter against Jones in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, sneaking past 4-3. Does Hancock have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jones turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
