The Metter Tigers will venture away from home to  challenge the Atkinson County Rebels  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Neither  team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers  on Tuesday. Metter came up short against  Claxton, falling  3-0. The  game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Metter struggled afterwards.
Meanwhile,  Atkinson County unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost  9-1 to Coffee. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Atkinson County were already down  4-1.
Their goal came courtesy  of  Emma Hayes, which was the first she's scored this season.
 Metter has  been struggling recently as they've  lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record  this season. As for Atkinson County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
 Metter might still be hurting after the  4-0 defeat they got from Atkinson County  in their previous meeting  back in February. Can the Tigers avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
