The Health Sciences Charter Falcons couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell to Buffalo Seminary 35-31. Health Sciences Charter lost against Buffalo Seminary in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 24-16 score last time.
Buffalo Seminary can attribute much of their success to Maya Reynolds, who scored 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Reynolds has scored at least 25% of Buffalo Seminary's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Roslyn Osei-Gymafi, who scored 5 points.
Health Sciences Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Buffalo Seminary, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Health Sciences Charter will look to defend their home court on Saturday against The Park School of Buffalo at 5:30 p.m. Buffalo Seminary's road trip will continue as they head out to face Cleveland Hill at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th.
