Manchester has gone 8-1 against Fairless recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Manchester has three straight wins, Fairless has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Manchester came out on top against St. Vincent-St. Mary on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Panthers put the hurt on the Fighting Irish with a sharp 11-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Cassidy Perry made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up a single walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off three home runs, six RBI, and one stolen base while going 4-for-5. Those three home runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Chloe White and Skylar Young did most of the damage at the plate: White got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, while Young went 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Young a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Page, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Manchester kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Fairless' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Manchester has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .466. It's a different story for Fairless, though, as they've only averaged .308. Will they be able to contain Manchester's hitters?
Manchester got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Fairless by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
