Round Rock had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They didn't even let the Vandegrift Vipers on the board, marking their second-straight 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won three matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory got Round Rock back to even at 4-4. As for Vandegrift, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Round Rock wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-4 win against Vista Ridge on the 25th. As for Vandegrift, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-15 defeat against McNeil on the 25th.
