Gleason is 2-8 against South Fulton since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bulldogs will host the Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Gleason barely beat Fulton County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs never let the Pilots get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won five games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Addy Black and Sophie Beasley did most of the damage at the plate: Black went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Beasley went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Black also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kami Thomas, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, South Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 21-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of Union City. Even if the Red Devils couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
Gabi Long led a balanced group of hitters, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Bellamy, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
