Severance is 5-0 against the Grizzlies since February of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Severance Silver Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Northridge Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Severance has ten straight victories, the Grizzlies have four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Severance can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They blew past Skyline 58-32.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Severance to victory, but perhaps none more so than Blake Varney, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Ryan Ewoniuk was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Northridge was the victim of a rough 66-42 loss at the hands of the Mountain Lions on Thursday. Northridge was down 57-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Severance is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Northridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Severance took their victory against the Grizzlies in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 72-46. With Severance ahead 46-17 at the half, the game was all but over already.
