Providence Hall is 0-7 against Delta since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Providence Hall Patriots will head out on the road to take on the Delta Rabbits at 7:00 p.m. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Providence Hall and 13 for Delta.
Last Thursday, Providence Hall came up short against Juan Diego Catholic and fell 52-39.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kaidence Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ireland Anderson, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Delta took a serious blow against Richfield on Thursday, falling 58-23. Delta has not had much luck with Richfield recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Providence Hall has not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Delta, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-18.
Providence Hall might still be hurting after the 53-27 defeat they got from Delta in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. Can Providence Hall avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
