  Carleigh Kinnaird spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
 Neosho's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Nixa,  the  victory snapped their losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 13-13 record.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neosho will head out to  face off against Joplin  at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Nixa, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Branson  at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
