After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Torrington, Newcastle was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rawlins Outlaws. The victory continues a trend for the Dogies in their matchups with the Outlaws: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-15.

Adalyn Olson paced Newcastle's offense, picking up 11 kills. Olson got some help from Kyndal Von Eye and her 27 assists. Olson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Newcastle's win bumped their record up to 14-17. As for Rawlins, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-25 record this season.

Newcastle has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Wheatland on the 1st. Rawlins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
