Southside Christian simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chargers 64-31 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Southside Christian.
Luke Boush continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. That makes it nine consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Southside Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Evans, who scored 17 points along with three steals and two blocks.
The win got Southside Christian back to even at 9-9. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 16 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southside Christian's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Conquerors at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th. Jacksonville Christian Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against the Chargers at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
