Arvin had won six straight games and Xzavier Pierson-Brooks did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Arvin Bears couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 89-26 blowout they got against the Immanuel Christian Crusaders thanks in part to Pierson-Brooks, who almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played.

Arvin pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.4 points per game.
