 In other pitching news,  Avery Conrad looked comfortable as she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Those  six  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high.
 Back at the plate,  Nali DeLorenzo was a standout: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with three  runs and two  RBI. Those  five  hits gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Camila Ramirez, who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with three  RBI and two  runs.
 Manchester Regional and Eastern Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Falcons (ranked 370th) will meet Glen Rock (ranked 61st)  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Meanwhile,  Eastern Christian will  take on  Hasbrouck Heights  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday with a big rank  disadvantage  (255 vs. 127).
