Sterling has gone a perfect 10-0 against Strasburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Indians at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Sterling put up the most runs they have all season on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over Arvada. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

Robbie Carrasco and Memphis Dempcy made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Carrasco pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Dempcy tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Carrasco has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. At bat, Carrasco went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Dempcy went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. That's the most hits Carrasco has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Ethan Felzien was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Ein Denning was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Sterling kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Strasburg can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Denver West. The Indians not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 18-6).
Gabe Smith and Aiden Bongard did most of the damage at the plate: Smith went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Bongard went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Bongard is becoming a predictor of Strasburg's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 3-12 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was RJ Weaver, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Sterling has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Strasburg, their record is now 6-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Sterling has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Strasburg struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Sterling took their victory against Strasburg in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
