Umatilla put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Crystal River Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 35-20. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 29-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pirates cut but never quite recovered from.

Umatilla's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryce Norflee, who picked up 141 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Norflee showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 64 yards. Another player making a difference was Ray Jenkins, who threw for 180 yards and three TDs.

Umatilla didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zion Reed and Grant Kirkland. Kirkland is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last five games he's played. Umatilla got some further help from Kellen Hatcher: he made 11 total tackles (6.0 for loss).

Umatilla's record now sits at 6-0. As for Crystal River, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Umatilla will face off against Lake Weir at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crystal River, they will square off against The Villages Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buffalo's defense has only allowed ten points per game this season, so the Pirates' offense will have their work cut out for them.
