Manchester put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Windham 91-58 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Manchester has posted since December 22, 2023.
Manchester relied on the efforts of Jayveon Robinson, who dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 16 rebounds, and ten assists, and Derrick Sheets, who scored 33 points. That's the first time this season that Robinson posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Oden-Tann, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, East Hartford unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. The match between East Hartford and New London wasn't particularly close, with East Hartford falling 86-70. East Hartford has not had much luck with New London recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for East Hartford, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Manchester came up short against East Hartford in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 63-59. Can Manchester avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
