Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Desmond Montoya, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Ramon Reyna, who scored 17 points.
Pettus has been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Waelder, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

As for Waelder, they will head out on the road to face off against Austwell-Tivoli at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Austwell-Tivoli has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 259 points over their last four contests.
