Given Akron's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Cleveland Hill is ranked 630th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Cleveland Hill still got an impressive performance from Deon Williams, who scored nine points along with two blocks.

The win makes it two in a row for Akron and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Cleveland Hill, they bumped their record down to 3-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Akron will face off against Newfane at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Newfane will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Cleveland Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Global Concepts at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Global Concepts is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
