Clymer/Sherman is 1-9 against Westfield since June of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Wolves will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Tuesday, Clymer/Sherman got the win against Cassadaga Valley by a conclusive 16-4. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Elli Bodamer spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Clymer/Sherman got a massive performance out of Keira Kinal, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Janelle Burchanowski was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
Clymer/Sherman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cassadaga Valley only posted an OBP of .333.
Meanwhile, Westfield fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Maple Grove on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Dragons by a score of 12-11.
Molly Burgess stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Reagan Weingart, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one double.
The victory made it two in a row for Clymer/Sherman and bumps their season record up to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Westfield, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Both Clymer/Sherman and Westfield just can't seem to miss. The Wolves have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Westfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Clymer/Sherman skirted past Westfield 5-3 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
