Clymer/Sherman is 1-9 against Westfield since June of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Wednesday. The Wolves will be playing at home against the Wolverines  at 5:00  p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Tuesday, Clymer/Sherman got the win against Cassadaga Valley  by a conclusive  16-4. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won six games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.

 Elli Bodamer spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side, Clymer/Sherman got a  massive  performance out of  Keira Kinal, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Janelle Burchanowski was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 Clymer/Sherman  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cassadaga Valley only posted  an  OBP of  .333.
Meanwhile, Westfield fought the good fight in their extra-innings  matchup against Maple Grove  on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Dragons by a score of  12-11.
  Molly Burgess stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Reagan Weingart, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs and one  double.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Clymer/Sherman and  bumps their season record up to 8-2. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Westfield, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Both Clymer/Sherman and Westfield just can't seem to miss. The Wolves have been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 9.4  hits per game. However, it's not like Westfield struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 5.6  hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Clymer/Sherman skirted past Westfield  5-3 in their previous meeting  two weeks ago. Will the Wolves repeat their success,  or do  the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
