Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask KIPP NYC College Prep). They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Truman Mustangs on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Mustangs last Thursday, they had to take a 8-6 loss.

The win got KIPP NYC College Prep back to even at 2-2. As for Truman, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Coming up, KIPP NYC College Prep is taking a road trip to square off against Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Truman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dodge Vocational at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
