The Salem Generals came into Friday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 49-38 win over Lake George on Friday. The win was just what Salem needed coming off of a 52-29 loss in their prior match.
Lake George lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emily Guidetti, who scored eight points along with 19 rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Madyson Brennan, who scored eight points along with two blocks.
Salem's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Lake George, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
Salem will head out on the road to challenge the Golden Horde at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Granville is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. Lake George does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
